- Thanks to the sharp eye of JohnD who brought this to my attention:
Track d1t09 Cajun Girl failed it's md5 verification. The left channel was missing
from 01:39 through the end of the track. The file has been repaired seamlessly
and the lineage of the repair is:

Featroller note: sorry I didn't catch the boo-boo first time around. Thanks to JohnD and of course Alex for
a second chance to get it right!

Featroller Review, Patchogue-Inspired Windbag Edition:
There must be something about this beautiful old theater in a fishing town on the South Shore of Long
Island that put an extra kick into the Feat. This show doesn't quite match the epic heights of the legendary
5/27/00, but it's close. This one has long been available at archive.org, from where I snatched it years
ago, initially for the rare Blue Jean Blues. What a terrific song! Does anyone know why Billy is so reluctant
to do it? It's got that classic New Orleans-Feat beat, and killer lyrics ("Triple chin on her pretty little
face, curves on her body I won't soon erase…"). Follow it up with a nifty piano/slide jam intro to 44 Blues,
with Sam growling and yowling. He is unusually animated throughout the whole show – a sort of barometer to
how much fun the band is having.

Say what you will about George W. Bush, but he has one undeniable accomplishment: inciting some of the best
Apolitical Blues in Feat history. I can't think of a better one than this. Paul's vocal is kick-ass inspired,
and Sam utterly Featerizes Muddy Waters' Long Distance Call. The key and slide solos are nasty, and Fred gets
some fine blues licks as well.

The second set features an unusual set list – no Dixie Chicken or Willin' – with a great Dog Races and the
gorgeous Voices on the Wind. Easy To Slip > Rider was a staple of that era, nailed to perfection. Finish
it off with a smoking Let It Roll and a Fat Man > Get Up encore, with Richie ripping off a short but sweet
drum solo. It leaves me wishing the Feat had played Patchogue more than twice. How about a re-return engagement,
fellas?
