wow, this sounds GREAT!
chocobot, most people matrix SBDs with AUDs. From my limited experience, matrixing two AUD sources hasn't resulted in a better sound. If someone can show me an example of a good AUD/AUD matrix that sounds better than just a 2 mic aud, I'd love to hear it.
Some people these days are recording 4 mics on the fly, and they always sound a little muddy to me for some reason...
Anyone else have any thoughts on this matter? |

I like my 2 channel auds.
I don't feel like 4 channel is needed in most situations. Seems more like a novelty to just play with more gear. |

those 4 channel mic recordings need to be VERY careful of "phasing" issues....most average tapers don't take that into account. Sit with any good engineer and pick his brain....your tapes will appreciate it :)
