-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug |

***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

Set I = STELLAR + ADVENTUROUS MMW! Love the Improv, and that could just very well be We're So Happy -- which is wacked tune when played live anyway -- but I noted it as an Improv on the tune since it's pretty loose ... cool piano solo > What'd I say and Egbe Mi O is a tune I would *love* to hear live, having never caught it ...
Set II features some tunes of the kids album and Out Louder, along with an appearance by Oliver Wood which has its appeal (not hating on Oliver, but he just doesn't bring much for me in this setting) ...
The COOL moment, albeit unfortunate as well, is when the power goes out to cut off Nocturne (gotta love '07 versions!) due to the fire alarm, and then the guys treat the crowd to rockin' Buster > Caravan > Rides Again!
HA! You can hear a chick ponder aloud during this acoustic break about whether they're just gonna play acoustic like that for the rest of the night, and she doesn't sound impressed! HA!

Here is some footage of this show I put up a while back. I have the end of Nocturne when the fire alarm goes off...sick stuff...I thought it was sound effects John was adding in.

"We're So Happy Improv?!?"
HA! Yep! It's WAY cool!
And glad the notes are useful to/appreciated by some of you ... I was doing it for myself and then figured I'd update the text files and db.etree along the way! Sometimes I like to pay attention to the details, and other times I just like to kick back and listen -- but the notes are there if I want them ... anyway, I guess I'm just a freak for detail at times too! HA!
