From Hanno (taper) posted to db.etree source page comments:
http://db.etree.org/shn/6152
11/29/01: I recorded this show. (I wonder who made the SHNs? Thanks!!) you might want to
know before downloading this source that due to a wrong mic pre-amp setting on the D8 the
recording suffers from overloading / distortion when it gets really loud. that was my lack
of experience with the mics and also happened to me in Hamburg two days before. I've made
some wonderful recordings with them since. If by any chance there are better recordings of
either show, please do let me know! thanks
11/29/01: please make that *Berlin* instead of *Hamburg* in my previous comment
11/29/01: and finally, the drum solo is not the beginning of the second set; there was some
music (maybe one or two songs) prior to it. I also lost that due to the batteries.

-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug |

***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

This show is for completists ONLY, I'd say ... very grateful to Hanno for having recorded for sure! But, there's something a bit overloaded at times and the second set has it's drop outs due to battery trouble ... just letting you know what's in this torrent.
That said, it's nice to have another taste of the this Euro run in Jan '01.
The Philly Cheese has a great breakdown at the end, and I dig the Bone Digger > Drum > Coconut Boogaloo combo for sure ... 2nd set is a bit disjointed when listening due to the drops, but still some nice stuff worth hearing ... great energy in the show closing Partido!
Oh, and I've included an image of the ticket stub:
http://mmwhistory.com/images/mmw2001-01-31.ticket.jpg
... courtesy of Tom's history pages, where he also collects images related to shows (i.e. stubs, posters, pics of marquees, etc) -- thanks Tom! (And to the uploader of the original image!)
