| Thanks WharfRat. This is the only year I did not see the Dead since my first show in '83 , due to the birth of my first daughter (who will be entering Clemson next year!!!). The Vince era is also the least represented in my collection so it will be nice to hear some of these later shows. My wife and I did see them again, in Charlotte, in '95, and the middle night with Bruce was proof that they still had a spark left until the end. |

you picked a good one for 94. this is one of the last great shows.
i was there that night in the old garden. first row of the balcony and it was shakin.
coincidentally, i am listening to this show now - lamenting a patriots loss. when phil sings tom thumb he says something other than "new york city" in the last verse. sounds like marguerite or something.

Thanks for this one. I was in boarding school in N.H. at the time(15yrs old) and because I was making strait A's, Mom's hooked it up.
I pleaded to her that I had to catch this run. She called school and told them I had family issues to take care of(which wasn't really a lie). School dropped me off at Logan. I waited for the driver to leave and ran for the Garden to catch the whole run. Spring break was the unbroken run. Not bad for a high schooler.
