This music was recorded at a benefit for former MO Blues President Joyce Harkins at the Tiger Zou Pub on Dec. 19th, 2010.
Joyce is a longtime supporter of the local independent music scene and of Driving Wheel in particular.
In recent months, Joyce has endured a medical crisis that has likely changed her life forever.
She was diagnosed with a 10 cm Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) in February 2010.
She did undergo an emergency stent placement, where they found an additional aneurysm and other complications on her right kidney.
She continues to struggle medically and seek treatment to stabilize her condition.
Further procedures and surgeries are inevitable.
We are seeking donations of gift certificates, tickets, merchandise, CDs, T-Shirts, performance time...
basically anything we can raffle/auction to raise money to help Joyce while she is medically restricted from working and earning a living to pay for the basics
(mortgage, utilities, cobra medical insurance, medical co-pays, food, etc.).
