This was the John Dawson NRPS....He released a NRPS record called "Keep On Keepin On".
Can't find much refernce to it, the Nelson/Cage New Riders don't awknowledge it as a NRPS record...
I picked it up at a Buffalo show circa 89-90...
Thanks for the up.... |

Here's the lineup for this show:
John Dawson - acoustic guitar, vocals
Rusty Gauthier - guitars, lap steel, vocals
Gary Vogensen - electric guitar, vocals
Sorry to say, I do not have the opening set by New Potato Caboose.
Please note, this is the midwest version of NPC, they changed their name to "Bones Of Contention", after discovering there already was a "New Potato Caboose" operating on the east coast. |

| The Omni is in Atlanta. Don't know of any venue as The Omni that was in Milwaukee. |

| For a short period of time, the Eagles Club was known as the Omni, before changing it's name to The Rave. It's a little confusing, because as The Rave at least 4 different spaces were used for performances. This performance was in the Eagles Ballroom. This sameroom was known as George Divine's Million Dollar Ballroom when Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper played on the ill fated Winter Dance Party tour. A small "shrine" to that performance still exits in one of the hallways |
