the way the story goes is,
2/17/82 was the first show that Phil ever took Jill to. it's a kind of romantic memory of theirs. so the band played that setlist tonight as a kind of Valentine's gift to Jill.
which is pretty damn cool IMHO. |

| The reason I noticed is I'm working on a 24bit transfer of the sbd cassette masters of 2/17/82. It's a great upgrade. |

2011-02-15 22:51:50 |
| who "stole"this idea from who???? the grateful dead performed shows in their long spacey history that DSO began to reinact or re-present If you will, that added them into the jamband world weir all enjoying! So Colonel Phil wanted to reenact a show that 29 yrs ago he and his bandmates performed if you will for a valentines day kickback for the general Jill Lesh on 2-14-11 and weir writing they stole the idea from dso......uuummmm i dont think dso would be anything to date if it wernt for the grateful dead. peace from da' burgh-just my thought |
