Featroller comment: The Anaheim show sounds like an in-studio setting with an audience. Very good full-band
acoustic versions of Spider's Blues, Sailin' Shoes and Hate to Lose. The kicker is Amazing Grace, with Shaun
singing the hell out of it… for as long as it lasts, until an announcer voiceover drowns it out. Still, it's
well worth having.
The BBC Classic Albums episode focuses on Feats Don't Fail Me Now. They interview Paul and Richie about each
track on the album, then play the track – but you only hear a snippet of each one because as official releases,
they had to be cut. Still, the stories are great. Some of them I hadn't heard before, or at least heard in
as complete a version. Sound quality throughout is pretty good, with minor hiss issues. And since much of
this is interviews, sound quality for them doesn't matter as much.
A must-have for any serious Feat collector, and worth a listen for anyone interested in the band's history.
Spider's Blues to Amazing Grace… whoa, you don't hear that every day! But you can now.
