My recording from the OTS night 1 is the best sounding recording I've ever made from anywhere in the building. I'm actually in awe of how good it sounds...and I kinda wish I had got a ticket to the 2nd night so I could have pulled another one.
The only other time I've heard the Civic Center sound that good was for Moogfest. |

Can't say I blame you for not running FOB Sat. I was up top and it didn't look like there was enough room to breath down there much less protect stands.

First night was fine FOB. Didn't have any space issues that we haven't had everywhere else in a GA show. The lack of FOB on 4/9 was... well... a concession after we had a little run with house security in during the encore of night 1 and were asked not to go up front by the band.
My night 2 blows. Bright as hell and not even worth tracking. Guess I never learned how to run in the TS ;)
Night 1 is pretty good. Not as good as 4/21/02 in the same spot but OK. |
