I had heard so much about Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and they were pretty good. However, after splitting time between Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and then this Lee Boys set, there simply wasn't any funk left to hear. You should also check out the Lee Boys' set from Skippers' Smokehouse on 12.17.10. They are unstoppable. Here is my best shot at a set list. And it doesn't get any better than Roosevelt! Check him with ABB on "One Way Out!"
