My first show... The Horse Center had a sand floor and smelled like (of all things) horses...

Terry, I was at this show too... at this point I had seen way more DMB shows than phish (remember DMB opened)

It was like seeing a show at the rodeo. The best part about this place was that they let us camp right where they parked us, but didn't really tell anybody they were going to allow it until we got there. Would love to find the DMB set from this night.

Meta: I had seen toooo many DMB shows up to this point... Tuesday Night at Trax if I remember correctly...

Planet: Interesting... State Troopers told us we had to leave, but we couldn't since I had locked my keys in my car. They were very unhelpful as to calling a tow-truck or lock-smith for us, so we ended up breaking out a window in my car... I'm glad it worked out for you though!

And yeah, I'm pretty sure I had this DMB set on tape a long time ago, but those all got given away when I first moved to Raleigh... The only thing I have left from my DMB days is fuzzy memories and maybe a venereal disease from all the Sorostitutes!

LOL! Yea, I used to see DMB on wed nights at the "flood zone" in RVA. We used to position ourselves just below Boyd on fiddle and just egg him on. He would seriously get down, and sometimes break his bow he played so hard. I think my favorite song of 1993 was "true reflections"
