Transfer: Apple Mac Mini 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo > Wave Editor (tracking, normalization, output in FLAC level 7). Replay gain and SBE repair with xAct v2.12. Tagged with Media Rage 2.61.
Recorded from ~30ft back, dead center. Mic stand height ~10 ft.

Yup, Los Lobos tour in Hawaii is the best! This was a really high energy bar-type show, on the eve of a major tropical storm. After the band was done signing stuff, we went outside and felt a drop or two. Five minutes later is was pouring. Then the storm came in earnest.
Safely in the car, listening to playback of the show, we cruised downtown Honolulu in search of perfect aftershow grinds, Hawaiian style. By then, the palm trees were bent over at 50 degrees, and it was raining sideways.We found a teeny noodle shop, offering Korean-style ramen. In the 30 second trip from the car, we were soaked.
We took refuge inside the noodle shop, had amazing mandoo and steaming bowls of ramen, while we checked out the local scene at 2am.
Awesome show, crazy fun!
