TWAS A GREAT SHOW INDEED. Nice and slick, the way Warren likes it. He was all smiles for this performance and he threw it down. Not much slide playing this time around, but his guitar work was nonetheless what my soul needed.
The cover tunes were really something, especially his take on Sam Cooke. Highlights for me were the Tower of Power cover, the psychedelic part of Invisible, and all the Tales Of Ordinary Madness songs in the first set.
I hope you all enjoy the recording.
To those of us who still burn to cd, it will fit on two discs if Soulshine is put on the end of set 1.

Thanks Jahdawg.
I thought Warren was having more fun than in Burlington. He certainly smiled more. I agree with the review. Don't change horses was a nice surprise and the rave-ups were what makes this differ from a regular soul show. Just a blast to watch. |

| Thanks a lot JD! Anybody seen a copy of the 10/13/11 show @ The Carolina Theater? There were 2 tapers there, as best as I could see. Nice performance. Only the second show since the theater reopened after being renovated this past summer! |
