Looks like the goods.
|Thanks Stuart, sounds great....and I really enjoyed not taping myself for the 1st time. Nice meeting you and Sherry and hanging with Cliff. Hope to see you around AVL sometime.
|Chaffe-Great meeting you too. Come meet us tomorrow night for Karl Denson's Tiny Universe performing "Sticky Fingers." We'll be at Mo Daddy's at 630 before the show.
|Thanks for taping and sharing! Much appreciated!
I've added a source entry here:
|Yep, u hooked me up with the mp3's t figure timings
and I can tell you that this is one sick ass show.
STU HIT THE EFFING JACKPOT!!!!!
The Mti Mo is 18min.
The recording is off the charts clean. Stu those NEW t00bz
were such a great purchase brother.
Id love to get your opinion on show, T00BZ, and crowd.
BILLY COMMENTED THAT ASHEVILLE WAS MAGICAL.
|Oh, the only trouble I had with this one was the second track of set two. It goes from improv to what I think is actual tune. It reminds me of a cover that I just can't place.
Stu's t00bz brought home the goods.
|Kicking myself... caught the night before in Winston. Wish I had dropped everything to make it to Asheville too. Oh well. At least I still get to listen. Many thanks!
btw.. there WAS a rig running off the balcony in Winston. And there's a chance it will surface. Keep your fingers crossed.
|Thanks Stu, can't wait to check it out!
|Just a heads up y'all. the folder is labeled 2011-09-11 (SEPT11,2011).
I thought I had deleted the show somehow. LOL.
|^^^Oops. Sorry about that.
|Thanks for sharing...Listening to it now. Sounds awesome
|"btw.. there WAS a rig running off the balcony in Winston. And there's a chance it will surface. Keep your fingers crossed."
great news! fingers crossed...
|They are quite crossed.I joined the Hypnotized request campaign and then I couldn't go to Winston, but I want to hear it. btw the Schoeps tubes were used to record the Tonic album, were they not? this asheville recording is great. thanks.
|So beautiful, thank you so much!! Winston the night before was pretty sweet, but THIS was the show to be at. Blue Pepper and Uninvisible to close it out was RIDICULOUS! The recording sounds fantastic, the crowds tended to be pretty quiet, but things can get rowdy in Asheville. This recording has some of that feel without any real interference.
Well done, we appreciate all you do for our community!!
