Thanks, guys. One question (actually two!): the information file has 14 files but there are 13 included, with the checksums also listing only 14. Which is correct?
Also, there was some controversy awhile ago about matrix recordings, especially when you start with a good soundboard. I was wondering whether better equipment and/or approaches to matrix recordings had changed Charlie's thinking about this or whether there are other factors leading to this approach. |

An evidently esoteric process called "listening to the music I just downloaded" confirms my suspicion: No files are missing, and d2t02 contains 2 songs.
Here is how discs 2 & 3 actually are tracked:

| There is a big difference between these matrixes and the post production matrixes that are being done. When I set up the mics, they are on stage and directed in a way that most compliments the sbd. Mixing an 30 year old GD aud with a sbd doesn't sound natural to me. |
