Times given are for tracks, not songs.
According to Deadlists, the band consists of
Jerry Garcia (guitar and banjo), Marshall Leicester
(banjo and guitar), and Dick Arnold (fiddle). The
performance took place at the 'new' Boar's Head
Coffeehouse, relocated in the San Carlos Jewish
Community Center. Deadlists also hypothesizes
that this is an audience recording, possibly with
onstage mics.

this show was about the 50th or so cassette into my collection{back in 1972} ... sige b is Jerry & Sarah '63 / The Wildwood Boys '63 / Mother McCrees Uptown Jug Champions '64 ... had been my earliest "The Grateful Dead Tree" recording ... until 3 days ago ... Phil playing trumpet 04/04/1959 (I was 5 mo. old then) ... anyone got any older Family Tree recordings
as for non-Dead related material ... looking for something cool earlier than Leadbelly & Woody Guthrie am radio broadcast 1940 (I've even found 3 songs from that non-broadcasted video from the radio station) |
