This gig RIPS! First post-Halloween gig and the boys are slamming those PJ Harvey tunes -- I could listen to Who the Fuck every night as it is KILLER!
Cool expansive Pocket Knife in here too that opens into a wacked upbeat Improv on the theme around 9:43 on the track -- it almost sounds like they're abandoning it but they're still inside the tune -- this is VERY COOL! ... oh, and the first set improv ain't too shabby either - HA!
Thanks for re-sharing this one, Todd. Folks need to hear it!
As always, the most up to date and reformatted setlist/textfile can be grabbed here:

... but actually, does anyone else hear a loose We Are Rolling after the Drum Solo that comes out of Shine It? @9:38 on d2t04 I noted an Improv, but just listening again right now it sounds like an unfinished We Are Rolling to me and then the spill over to d2t05 would be the mid-section to WAR but never makes it into that reggae-ish groove, so I've changed the track listing accordingly:
Disc #1
Set 1:
01. [03:22] - Who The Fuck^
02. [05:55] - Improv (w/ Felic bassline) >
03. [07:02] - Improv >
04. [08:00] - Improv >
05. [14:41] - Lonely Avenue
06. [13:01] - Queen Bee
Set 2:
07. [16:15] - Pocket Knife^ > Open Improv [@14:31] >
08. [08:52] - Toy Dancing
D1: 1:17:08
Disc #2
01. [04:16] - Paris
02. [06:05] - Sasa >
03. [11:10] - Shine It > Drum Solo [@6:15] > We Are Rolling# [@9:38] >
04. [06:57] - We Are Rolling cont'd# > The Letter^ [@2:49] >
05. [09:16] - New Planet >
06. [08:40] - End Of The World Party
07. [11:44] - Curtis
Encore:

| Definitely agree on the We Are Rolling feel at the end of d2t03 although "loose" is a good description... but then I like my MMW loose! It seems to dissolve into that little spacy jam at the beginning of d2to4 which goes further afield from WAR. |

| Yeah, d1t04 has moved away from that heavy WAR groove for sure, but I likened it unto the mid-section of a traditional WAR where things open up a bit ... they just keep going out there rather than holding onto the tune at all, and then end up in The Letter ... I've added "loose" to the note about the tune! HA! |
