Looks like a good one except for the Looks Like Rain into a jam into drums...ouch. Was Jerry involved in this jam or was this one of those Weir-led jams with Bill & Mickey?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Thank you Joe. It's a recommended show Eric - go ahead and do it. The audience tapes from this show are also worth tracking down.

The Jam was very cool. They were all on there, and Bobby was doing some PITB Reprise teases, Very cool.

Ha!...EricCB thats exactly my reaction looking at that setlist. Scarlet>Fire, Looks like rain..yikes. BUT like so many great shows, you cannot always tell a great show by the setlist.

Tommie/Charlie/All-
Thanks for the comments. It's funny because I listened to the first set quite a bit back in the late 80s. One of my roommates from UCLA was a Connecticut head and was at this show and had the first set and the Scarlet>Fire on the end of side B of the tape, so I only heard that and never heard the rest of the show.
I still remember seeing that setlist in The Golden Road and thinking "how weird....Scarlet>Fire, LLR, nothing?" I guess I'll give the rest of the show a go.
Thanks for the up, Joe and to the rest of you for you help.

I got you beat ... I saw a show where the Second Set was Scarlet>Fire>Drums ... and it was not even in the post-Brent years where one might expect it. Any guesses? I was disappointed at the time, but after hearing this show again many years later, I have come to love this show and, especially, the Scarlet>Fire.

I was at these shows and they were solid - this jam was unique and cool.
As far as short-looking setlists, don't forget drums>space>Dew -set- from '86 Philly...might look skimpy on paper but that Dew was a monster...I much preferred that they ended as is with an exclamation point that tack on a token Throwing Stones>NFA or other predictable ender |

Fall '79 was a peak era for Scarlet-Fires often stretching out to 35-40 mins. Not surprising to hear of a show with just that pre-drums.
