Neumann TLM-170 (cardoids, in the sweet spot ~20 ft. from stage) -> Sound Devices 722 (@24/96); FLAC File processing in SoundForge Audio Studio 10.0c (volume normalization; resample to 44.1 with iZotope 64-Bit SRC set higher than "Highest Quality" setting w/anti-alias filter; 24->16 bit dither using iZotope MBIT+ Dither with Ultra noise shaping, High dither settings; hand scrubbing 18 nearby loud claps from T9); Tracked in CDWav.

Track 10 is clearly not an improv, definitely sounds like a composed song; my guess at title based on Skerik's rap.
* = dedicated to "Weize" Aiello (Bellar) who was in the room and who was escorted down the aisle by Skerik while he played "A Love Supreme" with Kirk Joseph at her (and Greg's) wedding
There is a little tiny bit of chatty crowd, mostly only audible on track 14

Thanks for this one. Love Skerik with any band, but even more when he's got the likes of Medeski playin' keys with him.
Can someone be kind enough to re-seed the famous MMW Trey sit-in show from 10-14-95 (yes, the Emo's show). I lost my copy in a fire and for some odd reason, no one's been seeding this for a while (probably because everyone and their mother already has it ;^). Feel like a dork asking for it, but I'd love to hear it again.

I'll post a new torrent for that '95 fileset w/Trey in the coming week or so, so watch for it ... I can't often hop on old torrents because I always alter/update the textfile.
Anyway, a new torrent will bump it up in attention so the other two people who don't have that show can grab it now as well - HA!

Thanks and I'll keep my eyes out. I got that show back in November of '95....that tape spread like wildfire even though it was in the ol' B+P days. I played that cassette a ton and saw MMW on their first trip to LA, 11-23-96 at the El Rey Theater with Critters Buggin' opening. Got to see MMW and Skerik both for the first time that night. What a show! Is that one out there? My friend Rob recorded on his pro-quality home dat deck; can't remember if there were any others plugged out of him. Played that cassette a ton too and that was lost in the same fire that took my tape of 10-14-95.

Hey All-
I've checked bt.etree and there are a lot of the fall '96 shows around, including the two at the Fillmore just preceding my debut MMW show, but the El Rey 11-23-96 is *not* among them.
I'll check with some of my friends to see if any of them still have a dat of that they can convert and up. In the mean time, can someone re-seed the Fillmore from the previous night (11-22-96)? Looks like a sick one.
