WOW!!!!! MY REQUEST!!!! I think I'm gonna faint!! Thank you, monkeyboyor, for this and for your ongoing Crowes campaign!!
I'm very curious about this show; I haven't heard any BC show with Audley Freed, apart from the Page thing, of course, so as I said, I'm curious: I'll bet he's not as good as Marc or Luther though! ;-) |

Oops, I told an unwitting lie. D'OH! I DO of course have the official 'Live' album, also with freed and Andy Hess on bass (I think?). Long time since I listened to it; what better moment to pull it out and give it a spin while this downloads?
Thanks again!! |

Cool. Went to this show to see the Crowes, but the Neil Young show is the best I have ever seen. Seats on the 5th row in Globen was probably the first and last time.
By the way, Rich Robinsons show last week, first time in Sweden since this one, was terrific |

Audley Freed will hold his own with any guitar player alive. Thanks for the show!

| Thanks. But why would one want to remove any DJ banter from a radio broadcast? I, personally speaking, prefer the authenticity of any recording, which some -myself included- might call "RAW". RAAAAAAW CHEEEEERS and my appreciation for this much needed reseed. |

| Yeah varanasibull, I don't mind a little authenticity as long as it isn't a station ID in the middle of song which happens from time to time. Still, an enthusiastic (and informed) DJ can sometimes add to a recording. Thanks for the show. |

| thanx fer all these wonderful uploads of the crowes -anyone got the show (aud. or sbd or fm or even by megaphone) that they played at & split the bill with oasis in denver in 2001? |

In the Crowesworld, it really should be regarded as Ford>Freed>Dickinson. Audley got shafted by proxy of not getting to explore the back catalog as much (especially during '98-'99), as well as being turned down in the mix a lot.
Speaking of '99, think we can get a re-seed of 4/4/99?? Great 'high energy' show that has Audley, but also really spotlights a super-funky Pipien/Gorman rhythm section. There's an FM broadcast, as well as an awesome AUD recording. I'd be happy with either or both, if someone's got em... |
