Remember this show like it was yesterday spent all day with 3 car loads of friends tickets were under 30 bucks and It was baking hot out ha!!! What a show at Alpine and then came the Encore 3rd mini set...Thanks for the upload ill check out the new source

| That jam outta Fluff ought to get a separate track listing, too. It was totally independent of Fluff after a few minutes. Worst Chalkdust and Waste ever, perhaps. Worst Mango during the song, and remarkable jam to make up for the flubbs. A really uneven, bizarre show. Loved it, though. Took a friend who had never seen them before. She dug it, I do believe. |

| One of the worst Tweezers I've ever heard, too. Trey fell (collapsed?) flat on his ass in the middle of the Chalkdust. By this point, hard drugs were adversely affecting the presentation of music :( The encore is fun, though... |

| Yeah, I kinda remember Trey tumbling all over at the end of the first set, too. I think I remember reading or hearing that Trey's wife had left him or announced to him that she was leaving just prior to this show. I also heard that he was drunk. If there's a second Phish book, maybe someday we'll know what was going on. Whatever the problem was, it definitely affected the music - a sloppy show with some spectacular moments. Fluff jam, Mango solo, four song encore including Glide. |

I love that every time the band doesn't live up to someone's expectations, that person immedietly knows "it was the drugs...". So tired of hearing that nonsense. He, they, It, were all on/off those/these drugs when they jammed that amazing Fluffhead or the Catapult that gives me chills (like the Melt > Catapult 12/31/99). Let's see, I was on drugs both of those Catapults, does that mean I'm not accountable for myself during?
