The was a great seat that barely scratched the surface of Bobby Keys' work. Bobby is funny as hell and surrounded himself with some great musicians, including the co-owner of the Mercy Lounge/Cannery Ballroom. They played great versions of some of my favorite Stones' songs and a few others I didn't know he played on. A great opening act for the Truckers!

enjoy!

10 Q i met bobby this summer @ copper mtn. in colorado. he played with some coverband, i got there late, didn't know he was playing, he was walking around, tryin' to breathe at 9000 ft., got to shoot the breeze with him for awhile, like nobody knew who he was.....this is a great man, player and part of the history of rock n roll....play on..

Thanks. It was a great show.

I hope this will upload. I've been having computer issues and using a new BT client. Have to go to work, but I'll check on it later and hopefully fix it. Sorry. I need by old computer back!

Gorman on drums, nice.
procrowe 2012-02-13 16:34:24
That wasn't Gorman, I promise. I've seen the Crowes plenty of times to know the difference. The drummer was good but I KNOW it wasn't Gorman.
tdwriter 2012-02-14 23:17:41
You're right. Gorman was advertised, but had I paid attention to the banter before the last song, I'd have correctly listed the drummer as Brad Pemberton.
