Traders Little Helper used for creating checksums:
- FLAC ST5 & MD5 generated for original FLACs
- FLAC ID3 tagged files matched to original FLAC ST5
- FLAC MD5 generated for ID3 tagged files (t-flac.md5)
MP3Tag (current version) used for all ID3 tagging:
- The metadata ID3 tags can be read by any player that plays FLAC files.
- ID3 tags will be stripped if converted to WAV, however audio data will be unaffected
Use FLAC ST5 to validate audio integrity.
(Alternatively, the FLAC FFP contains the same checksum values.)
t-FLAC MD5 values will change if ID3 tags are altered.
Original FLAC MD5 & ST5 included for reference
T-FLAC16TAG.HTML uses FOLDER.JPG to display album art
T-FLAC16TAG.TXT provides a track-by-track breakdown of the fileset's ID3 tags

-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the audio of the original SHN/FLAC filesets -- but now with a twist. We are now seeding ID3
FLAC encoded filesets of db.etree sources which still maintains the audio integrity. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as
we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and
hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd
all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
enjoy the grooves
***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and
guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

... hopefully somebody who grabbed a fileset you need can go back and help you out. Folks, please revisit these old torrents and see if anyone needs some help.
Thanks for helping to spread the grooves.

This source is the retransfer Wildeyes did just a few years ago -- there was a source stemming from his recording, but without clear lineage. This trumps that source, I'd say.
VERY cool start to the set with the Improv > First Time Long Time -- again, a rare treat as this is one of 6 performances ever, with 5/11 being, I think, the last time it's played until the March 2011 requests shows where it made a single appearance on 3/3/2011 -- I'm still combing the rest of 2002 setlists though, so perhaps I'll find it in there somewhere ... I have noted a couple now that were previously labelled as improvisations but were in fact performances of the tune -- cool stuff!
Setlists continue to shake up a bit without the horns present ...
|Sweet! I was at this show.
