one of, if not the absolute SICKEST first sets I ever heard Ratdog play. the TNK alone is worth the price of admission. I remember seeing SK take his Cream Strat off and kinda dangle it in front of his amps to get "that" sound.
And teh closing "Deal" features some fantastic SK soloing and Bobby with some chunky rhythm.
Book Of Rules and Just Like Mama Said were awesome too.
Also saw SD native Bill Walton dancing down in front.
another cool thing was, the little amphitheatre area, whatever, it was odd to see folks in their boats just outside of the venue proper hang out for the show. Drive the boat over to the venue, unobstructed view and great sound. On your boat. Nice life, huh? |
