This is First Night I used the Oade M118. Doug walked up to me and handed me the Box and
said "Run it into the line in Jack, and run it as hot as you can." As soon as I got home
and listened to it, I called him up and told him I wanted one. He sold me his, because he
was just starting to use the Microtech's and had to build himself a new M148. He delivered
it to me at the Atlanta shows the next week. Still using that box today, but it has had
several battery replacements and has been upgraded to a 48 volt box for the AKG480's.

| I have both nights, however the 2nd night is not using the Oade Preamp. Also have the 4 night run from '96 at red rocks. |

RR 96 was a tough run to tape for everyone.
So far the LD Neumanns from Scott did the best job of the bunch imo (schoeps b&k naks etc). |

scored 3 face-value tickets by standing on the side of the road leading into red rocks with the sign "cash for your extra"
it was a really peaceful scene this year, but I was so tired from driving all night through a snowstorm from Utah that I barely could stay awake during set II. |

| My first Phish show. First set was pretty standard I suppose, although I was really more focused on the crowd than the music. Second set featured some killer jams and some crowd busting in from up top. The next evening, security was much more prominent. Amped to hear the new sources from '96. |
