No doubt Z, you can't beat Schoeps in many situations. I've never owned Schoeps though, mainly a DPA guy in terms of desire for taping myself. But I patched a bunch of Schoeps in the mid-90's. All of these moe.ldies are from Chillwiger, Team Schoeps OG Philly division. ;)
Generally I prefer to reach for the golden ring with the DPA's for that once in a lifetime recording. :) |

Nice! He just called me from the road coming back from Albany moe.. I stil cant get him to bring his gear to every show! Work in progress.
Ill probably grab some Schoeps someday just to scratch that long standing itch, to mess around a little bit. But i'd never completely convert to the dark side! :):):) |
