This was my second time seeing them, the first being at the Apple Store downtown about 4 years ago. So, even though this is a small venue that holds around 600 people, it's actually the biggest place I've seen them. The Apple Store show was really fun and interesting... and I left it with a severely flawed recording. This was my chance to not just see them again but also to try to come away with something listenable. I think it worked out.
I hadn't thought about the fact that they have a covers album coming out soon, so I was surprised they played a crap ton of covers. Also, for those curious, I did tape Tender Mercies - but I had the H2 on high gain accidentally. It's not completely useless, but I probably won't be listening to it.
