First time SF had been to the Fox and Adam the SF keyboardist wizard said the sound is just resonating here at the fox. Ryan the FOB Sound man dialed in SF sound. Ryan was compressing some of the low end out of the keyboards adam had and he said that he had never heard some of those sounds before. I agree the recording came out really nice. Good to hang with the band and thanks to the Fox and Ryan FOH for the SBD feed and hospitality.

Notes: SF opened for Maive Melodies and
played one inspired set. They had the
9:00 - 9:45 time slot. Recorded only
SF not the NM.

Recorded Dead center in SBD area with DPA
4022+4027+4060 in various patterns. Then
created a 8 channel matrix of the 6 mics
and SBD feed. The Fox Theater SBD man
allowed me to set up my mics inside
the SBD area between the lights console
and actually SBD. Had Mics on stand at ~7
feet ~35 ft from monitors. Sound at the
venue was excellent. Recording sound
is very good to excellent. Crowd noise
is non-exsistent.

Performance: A+
Sound Quality: A

Thanks to Adam, Jack and Emanual from
SF and the FOX management and Ryan B.
the FOH SBD engineer for allowing me
record.
