| Great to see this up! I was a sophomore at H-SC when SCI played this gig (still have the poster from the show). Homecoming shows were always Thurs. nights in the past, and the admin made the school schedule the concert on a Sun. afternoon because so many students were skipping Fri. classes. In any case, SCI was "up and coming" on the east coast, and no one knew who they were. There were maybe 50-75 people at this gig, half of which were townies and jamband heads from the surrounding areas. This show is a great, early example of the band in their most relaxed and uninhibited state. The second set especially has a lot of freeform improv and great jams. Thanks, Terry, and I hope everyone enjoys! |
