This was by Request... But as it turns out, my copy of #3552 didn't match the one on DB... Weird, it has the same text file...
This one doesn't have SBEs and there are no drop-outs in Sand, AFAIK...
I have no idea where I got it, though I suspect it was the SHNFAM Hub...
Thanks to all parties involved!

http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=531999
even tho it says that it has the original it really is this fixed version |

where's the alternate source the part where linda seeded it after EAC'ng my disc's ? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL nice try she does this with every source she can of mine ... if you like my sources that much LINDA go buy some gear and tape a show and stop trying to seed others works as yours. ONCE again not the case... taped transferred seeded by : unidecker ... reseed etc... by Linda Webster. heh
facts are facts and that is just wacked.
maybe you can use jimbos gear now that he won't be using it for some time and actually go tape a show and stop trying to claim my sources are yours. thanks again !!!

^ lol do you belive this SHIIIIIIIIIIIT dumb broad... it was taped and seeded from the master DAT's maybe your dumb ass cant get it on DAT but i the master CAN and WILL . sorry to state the facts here but this is how it is all your EAC gen's are worthless and a shitpile to the db. adding other sources that just isnt the case.... so again WRONG.!!!! |
| metawhy |
2012-04-15 12:16:51 |
| well it looks like this EAC source really is the only source in circulation, so mikey if you still have the master DAT it sure would be nice of you to get that puppy out there. |

its been seeded and shared looooooooooooooooooooong ago.
check the comments on linda's db page from 2001...

also dave flashner and jason sobel did a reseed from Dave's clones of my masters as well so this seed/re seed EAC gen is not needed or correct.
so adding it to the db is a joke. |

a few things that I'll add to these comments
1. "alternate source" is probably not the best way to describe this seed. "SBE Fixes" is a better way to describe it.
2. I don't see where Linda claims to have taped this. We all know it was you, Mikey.
3. Although I seeded many of Dave's clones of your tapes from this tour (including the two previous nights), I never seeded this one. I think I transferred Dave's DATs, but by the time I did, there was a fair amount of digi-noise on the tapes, so I never seeded it (or maybe there were some big drop-outs - I don't recall exactly what the issue was). I think I still have Dave's DAT tapes, so maybe a new transfer could be done on a different deck to see if if it comes out any better?
4. in regards to adding this SBE fixed version to the db - while it's certainly not as ideal as a new transfer straight from the DAT, the purpose of the db is to document what "circulates". This SBE-fixed version of Linda's EAC > SHN does circulation, and therefore it belongs in the db.
5. Mikey - It would be great to get a new transfer from your masters. Not just for this show, but I bet you've got a lot of great stuff. If you're not up for it, I know that either Terry or myself are up to it :) Let's get those master's transferred |
| twatts |

I used the term "Alternate" as opposed to "SBE Fix", since apparently there is an "Original" EAC>SHN version via Linda, and a "Fixed SBE" version via Ghost (Fixed 9/2002). I wanted to differentiate this version from both of those since the MD5s are different...
Since Seeding this, I've found the Ghost Fixed version... This Alternate Version has slightly different tracking, though a listening comp demonstrates they are from the same Source...
It would be nice to see a fresh transfer of the Master...

Terry/Jason if you guys want the DAT masters i would be willing to send off all my TAB masters as well as some others i have got over the years from Dave and a few other tapers. I will never transfer them so if you'd like to have a go and see what's on them let me know and i will be glad to ship them all off to you... i think its about 60 or so DAT masters or clones of masters. So just pick up the shipping and you can keep the master DAT's or clones as well as i don't NEED or want them.
and again i wasn't trying to attack Linda but i just found it very UN nerving to not include the original tapers me and Dave in the lineage as i see it it should always be included as that's the proper lineage to take and correct route to take.... if you check back as far as stuff I've seeded for other people or "group" seeds /patch masters you will see i have ALWAYS included said persons or tapers because as being a taper myself i find its the right way to tackle the job and give the person due credit for bringing the music to us as best it can be archived with the proper gear or tapers in the text files.
So if you guys want to pick up the shipping on the Dat's and then transfer/seed etc... lmk and i will be glad to ship em and call it a day.
thanks again for the help jason and terry have a great sunday

I'll be very happy to re-transfer your DATs for you. I'm also happy to pick up the S&H, just let me know how you want it done: twatts1000@gmail.com
I'll contact Jason, but I'm sure he'd be up for it too!
Thanks,
