This is from my tape that I got in a tape trade back in the day. I was right on the rail in front of Kang for this show thinking that SCI was about to blow up. Fun stuff. Jazzfest '98 was off the hook and it didn't hurt that the cheese BROUGHT it. The night before this show they played a late set at the Maple Leaf that I didn't see but heard was pretty wild. Not sure if that circulates at all. One of my tapes had about 45 minutes from that show but it had recording issues so isn't worth trading.
This one has noise reduction to remove the hiss from the analog generation, but other than that it is a nice quality sbd.
Also, it is not noted in the text notes, but the Tequila jam during Jellyfish was with Keller Williams, and Come As You Are is with Stanton Moore of Galactic on drums. |

Unfortunately that's right. I got that Maple Leaf tape and tried to make it listenable, to no avail. Levels too low, and too much buzz. Let's hope something better emerges.
