Sorry for the delay, had another show after work last night and work today. I saw this festival as I passed by on Friday. I took a 3 hour break from work and headed down by train. The place was PACKED, had to be at least 50,000 folks there. I fought my way into the middle and settled FOB, a ways back. No choice as I got there just before The Spin Doctors were to come on. Only a 45 minute set. They played all the "greatest hits" and the crowd was diggin' it. It was a little windy and because of the distance, there is a bit of phasing.

Hey BVAZ and MadTaper, it was like entering a war zone going into that crowd of 50,000 with my bag of gear. Never been there and doubt I will go again. What shows have you guys pulled off there? Surprised I was only taper there, and then again last night for Wood Brothers.

| I absolutely admire you for fighting through that crowd. I've gone and taped 4 or 5 times and I always have to get there way earlier than the first band to have any chance of getting a decent spot. Thing is, there's plenty of room once everyone stands up off the tarps/blankets they've laid out, but everyone gives you the stinkeye for staking out any space after they've taken theirs... |

| I taped some of the early earth feat in the 90's made a really nice Peter frampton in 95. Haven't taped there in years. Been going thru all the old dats. Trying to get them transferred. Definately a tuff spot to tape! |

I've been out to the earth fest day but never taped and just know the zoo it is from living up here so long. you truly areb a warrior.
I assume you're in NY this weekend. I'll be a strange creek but should be around boston the following 2 weekends. hope to at l;east see you at phish in worcester. |
