|In the Spirit of GeeWiz...
I actually Fixed these SHNs in 2005. I just converted the Fixed SHNs to FLAC tonight...
|Next to last show before the hiatus. I cannot believe almost 12 years have passed since then. Crazy how time flys. I can remember the uncertainty I had for the time being after these shows, wondering if I would ever see the band I love perform again.
|Love the B&K sound, thanks for this!
|El Paso was a favorite song of mine (thanks Pop) before I'd ever listened to GD - the fact that Phish plays it fairly respectably with Bobby plus Mellow Mood and Spock's Brain, which was an instant favorite of mine when I first heard it and I was crushed to find out that they only played it a handful of times - well I would have really liked to have seen this one. Thanks again for this source!
|Thanks Terry for another fine source. I don't know if there are better mics than B&K 4011s....right up there with my other faves: Neumann KM140s and Schoeps CMC6MK41s.
This show was had a lot of highlights (Mellow Mood, only it's 4th performance and a fine Antelope, along with the DwD>Spocks and Cities), it seemed oddly disjointed with seemingly a fair number of "first set" songs in the second set (Rift, B&R, Inlaw). But I digress.
With all of the songs they probably could've played with Weir, to get El Paso, Chalkdust and then to close with West L.A. was a bit strange and kind of a downer (West L.A. is a good song, but kind of a downer). Oh well.
I was very lucky to see 9/29, 10/4, 10/5, 10/6 and 10/7 so I can't complain, but I'll agree with the CMVal that it was an odd feeling after the 10/7 show, really having no idea whether we'd ever see them play again. Honestly after 2004, I was sure we'd never see them again and was very fearful for Trey's continued existence on this mortal coil. Glad he cleaned up.
Could you jump back on? It appears about 30 of us are peering but no one has gotten the whole thing yet. I'm at exactly 75.0% but haven't had any throughput in the better part of an hour.
Happy to stay on the seed as long as there's interest.
Did anyone get this entire show? If so, can you jump back on and seed it? There are a bunch of us (33 listed in my torrent window) waiting on it and I've been stuck at 75% all day. I'm more than patient, but was wondering if there were issues with the torrent.
Thanks for the up Terry and for any seeders willing to jump back on.
|Sorry, about that... I had to move to PC from the Bedroom to my allotted corner in the Living Room... One of the last details before our New Arrival...
These should be good to go now...
|not a problem at all. thank you for all the work in these torrents.
Thanks again so much. Happy to give this one another listen; I have it in storage in L.A. (living in Brazil currently) and haven't heard this show in years.
Congrats in advance on the new arrival. =^D My kids are about 3 years apart too. Soon, you'll be swimming in diapers again....
|Oh and for some reason, it's listed as "Meadow View" in the title line above, even though the text file is right and lists it correctly as "Mountain View".
|I just updated the etree database entry with the new FLAC info.
