I was looking forward to a two-hour UM show after dark following their fantastic 1:15 set during the day at last year's festival. There were way too many frat boys and sorority girls in the crowd, high fiving and hugging, and paying more attention to each other than the band.
Aside from that, this was a great show and the band looked like they were having a blast. I'm glad they were invited back.
Despite all the goofs in the crowd, the recording came out much better than I expected. Unfortunately the file abruptly stops with 3:47 remaining in the show. I have no idea why this happened, just like I don't know why it happened last year during the Portugal. the Man set. I don't recall recall the batteries dying and I had a 16gb card in the recorder.
I'm still offering it for your enjoyment, but I hate that the last few minutes of the finale are missing. At least you can download the official UM live version and have the full two hours of fun.
