The selection committee decided both Bob Wagner's and Jim Wise's recordings need to be heard. Both audience sources offered are incredible recordings. Too bad for the many on this site who automatically skip over anything with "audience" in the title. Some truly magnificent music is passing them by.

Agree germain. This one is a personal favorite, in terms of both sound and music. As is the next night.
dewey72 2012-05-27 13:08:21
I tend to pass on audience recordings (unless pointed out to be exceptional) simply because I know I can grab them from the Archive anytime, whereas the sbds are fleetingly available. Some of my favorite recordings are auds. Thanks, Germain!
