- FLAC ID3 tagged files matched to original FLAC ST5
- FLAC MD5 generated for ID3 tagged files (t-flac.md5)

MP3Tag (current version) used for all ID3 tagging:
- The metadata ID3 tags can be read by any player that plays FLAC files.
- ID3 tags will be stripped if converted to WAV, however audio data will be unaffected

Use FLAC ST5 to validate audio integrity.
(Alternatively, the FLAC FFP contains the same checksum values.)

-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the audio of the original SHN/FLAC filesets -- but now with a twist. We are now seeding ID3 FLAC encoded filesets of db.etree sources which still maintains the audio integrity. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.

Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.

Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.

And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw

These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess

Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)

enjoy the grooves

MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.

We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.

db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

... hopefully somebody who grabbed a fileset you need can go back and help you out. Folks, please revisit these old torrents and see if anyone needs some help. Thanks for helping to spread the grooves.

**NOTE** I am trying to leave all new torrents open indefinitely since my new internet connection affords me ample bandwidth to keep on seeding! (dug - Jan 2012)

FANTASTIC Improv to open this show, and then some tunes that are later moved into the MSMW repertoire while they still enjoyed some further play with just MMW too. But man, the improvisation is where it's at for this set ...

Shackman is a great set opener and it get things started, and then Waking Up (aka The Squalb) makes its electric debut, and What'd I Say gets a piano only treatment again (like 4/15) -- Tootie Ma enjoyed just the piano as well in the first set. 2 tunes from the kids' album sandwich Paris, followed by another stellar Nocturne (I love this tune during this time!). Nostalgia/Angel Race comes next, which is a nice surprise I think, with a *grooving* New Planet to close ... then a classic encore to an awesome gig ..

Again, 2 sources to choose from and each offer their own strengths ... may as well get both, I say ... I enjoy listening to both, maybe switch off at set break ...

Thank you!
