This is the second best run of this tour (sorry, NJ). The 20th is very good. Thanks for the new sources.
As for the LMA question about these being uploaded, they will be up in a few days at the most. They always are. |

Gary... We just found out lines got crossed on capsule and mic body information for these 3. Once i roll into town ill update the torrent information so it can be properly logged into the db entry and lma upload.
Sorry and thanks.

And thank you to the gd admins who do an amazing job at maintaining our etree database and lma catalog.
They are like clockwork getting stuff entered and uploaded. |

| Thanks, Lenny. I'm sure these Schoeps recordings are far better than mine. A great run of shows. |

| i should dig out what left of my masters and see if anyone besides my self wants to have a go at them. i can digitize them no problem. been trading and taping since 1984. maybe one of my more savvy internet friends can sweeten them up or cool them off in places they need. send me a pm if youre interested. i got a few weeks off, maybe time to set up the naks and the r500s and the tascams and the p1 and get back to doin what i once did. |

Again, the exact source info is not reliable yet ... we know they are Schoeps and likely Oade P/S and almost definitely an SV-250. The wildcards are the CMC amplifiers (3/4/5) and wht caps that were used (41/4/21). The key players continue to research the lineage. We'll continue to update as we confirm, both here and on Len's blog and in the LMA to the extent possible.
We wanted to get these out because they sound (IMO) tremendous. Thanks for bearing with us. |

No worries.
Could you please email me when you know? I don't usually look at torrent comments. I may not remember to check back. Just to be sure, an email will do the trick.
Thanks |

Thanks Gary! I will email you. And thanks Craig for posting the update.
We have many more to come and we're going to iron out the mics before posting more. All signs from jcards to tape lists had these labeled MK21's for decades, but were incorrect all that time.
We are in the process of figuring it out, and I'll email you when we have it down. The only question again is in the Schoeps mic bodies and caps. Everything else is spot on. They mixed up the caps and bodies from show to show and tour to tour so we are working to get the sources confirmed.
One thing is for certain, and that's we know they're Schoeps FOB, and they sound great! |

This is so killer. As Gary said, second best run of that great tour, and this is the best of those 3 shows. Just listen to the bedlam created during Memphis Blues; wow.
Great recording; thanks a ton! |
