We camped out at the What Stage from about 12:30 p.m. until showtime. The show was fun, but negatively impacted by assholes with "artist passes" behind the rail where we were set up. They basically talked during the whole set. But it was still a fun show. We got rained on but it was not bad enough to lower the mics. Taped from travelinbeat's stand. Thanks for all the clamp space over the weekend.

|thanks this is cool wish i was there had to be over packed with people. Cant believe phish would play bonnaroo a second time they over sell with people with phish alone peace.
|I think its a great they played Bonnaroo again. The show was great.
There will time enough for countin' when the dealin's done!!
|yeah, really: that kenny rogers shit cracked me up when i saw it...BREAKOUT!
|much appreciated, I missed the first set stream so I neeed this
|I just added this to the etree database:
|Thanks so much for this! Can't wait to hear how it sounds.
|The second set sounds better than the first. I'll leave it at that. Not sure what was up. There will likely be some other sources up later, but there were only four of us taping that I'm aware of. Three sets of mics on the stand I was on and one, maybe two, on a stand on the left side of the center aisle. Not sure if Mike was running four channel or someone else was on his stand.
|was there a section for you guys, or where you set up wherever you felt like it / wherever you could?
|i just started playing tweezer - it sounds pretty good - you seem down on the sound you got in the first set - were there specific moments that you didn't like, or is it that you just don't like the whole set? And - at least the Tweezer & Free seem tracked weird - track 10 ends about where the Tweezer jam starts - track 11 continues the tweezer. Hoping to see you comment. And thanks for taping and sharing!
|Oh - I see what you mean - lots of crackly shit in certain songs. Bummer.
|Yes, I'm extremely sorry. There will be other sources up eventually.
|I didn't mean it like that - please forgive me for making you feel like an apology was appropriate - I was just acknowledging that I heard what I guessed were the reasons you were qualifying your recording. I suppose it might have been nice if you had articulated the issues, as you saw them, instead of leaving things so vague. Anyway - it's the only source out, at this point, and it sounds good, to me. I'm dumping the Sample, Axilla, and Gambler - I would have regardless of taping artifacts - and the crackles in Possum certainly aren't enough to detract from the pretty decent jam. Again, thanks for taping and sharing. Was there a section, or did you just wing it?
| Oh no, I have no problem with your comments. I'm irritated I missed it. I had the Live Phish track times to go by so it shouldn't have happened.
We had a great section just to the right of the center aisle/rail in front of the board. We basically took over the corner all weekend.
After taping 18 shows at stages and in tents, we started having level issues with Phish. Another taper had level issues as well. It rained off and on during the show, but I don't know if that was the crackle. I'll have to check it out. The issues were worse during the first set than the second set.
It just didn't come out like we had hoped, but it continues my string of "issues" taping Phish! ;-)
|Can't seem to connect to this torrent. Happens sometimes but I don't know why. Currently DL'ing another show and have DL'ed several others the last few days so it's nothing I can put my finger on.....
|Thanks for dialoging, MSTaper!
|I was there and it was a very smooth show. Not a lot of crazy jams, more of a greatest hits. Don't get me wrong it was tons of fun, the sound was great, etc.
Regarding the amount of people there, it was interesting because tons of people were there to see Radiohead first and foremost. Phish was Sunday night, and I know for a fact that many people left to work on Monday and didn't even stay for Phish.
But most important for me is that the entire weekend, the temp never even hit 90. It was so mild with a slight breeze and only a small amount of rain during the Phish show.
Enjoy the recording.
|I also appreciate the dialogue. It's nice to see folks have an honest and sincere discussion about the recordings - it surely makes the comments area more enjoyable (as opposed to some of the "beat-downs" I've read here in the past). I also like it when a taper is not afraid to say when they nailed it. Like most people here, I've downloaded something from just about everybody at one time or another and I appreciate every one of them. Thanks.
|thanks a bunch, Phish's last appearance at Bonnaroo was awesome with the Bruce Spingsteen cameo. Lookin forward to Kenny Rogers in there this time!
|Thanks again! Really hope Phish passes this one by next time. Bonnaroo gets a lot of jerks. Phish doesn't need that. And once again Radiohead puts all to sleep!
