This historic month in GD history produced 4 EPIC Eyes of 5 total played (6/18 was non-epic). This was one of them. While the SBD was cut during this song, at least on the Miller source, the audience participation during this performance is like none other and is fun to listen to. There is non-stop, joyful clapping through the latter part of the song into Dancin', for what seems like 10 minutes or so. The Dead set the Tower on fire this time around - no question there.
Of special note, this is the only performance of Crazy Fingers into Comes A Time, both being standout versions.
I gently removed tons of static from the SBD, which is a major plus here sonically. |

| Hunter, have you done 6/14/76 from the Beacon Theater yet? It is a simply FANTASTIC show!!! The Dancin>Cosmic Charlie>Help>Slip>Franklin's is freakin nuts! Especially the Slipknot! It has 3 distinct stanzas and jam styles in a 9 minute Slipknot! Also, the Lazy Lightning>Supp is marvelous as well. Could you PLEEEEZE put this one on your list? Its a real doozie! Or, if you have done it, could you find out where I could pick it up? And as always, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! Happy Rainbows!!! |

| I love this run of shows, this matrix is particulary tasty. I wonder if a SBD for 6-23-76 will ever show up ? Jubal, you should just mix the whole fucking run! I would love to hear your take on the 6-24 Help->Slip->Franklin's. I must admit, I fancy a go at 6-21 myself! |
