Notes:
Thanks to EATB1979 for the recording! It is really bass heavy and seems to have a bit of
distortion at times. However if I listen to it on my home system with my 18" subwoofer
and Klipsch pair it sounds great, with just the occasional crackle on the loud low notes.
However on some headphones or in the car it is real noticeable but can be lessened by
some light EQ. I normally do some EQ and other mastering to these but then I just
decided to let this one be as it is, no normalization or anything was done to the audio
other than to downsample it to 44.1KHz for maximum compatibility.
Perhaps someone with more time or better ears could do a remaster job on this fantastic
show! Once again thanks to EATB1979 for making this happen...

| Thank you for your kind work, my friend:) Forever grateful. I would love to hear 6-16 if you had that one too:):):) Can't thank you enough for these XRoads shows. |

I did not record 6/16, unfortunately, my time and budget is limited especially since Phil plays ALL the time and I have a job and a life and a wife. I know that EATB1979 didn't get 6/16 one either. I know there are others out there recording some of the other Terrapin shows (or at least they were) but for various reasons they aren't being publicly circulated.
Anyone can become an amateur taper though! if you have an iPhone or late model iPod touch check out the iM2, I do a little mastering as those aren't the best mics in the world, but they still do the trick. And they're only $60 on Amazon! Blows my $600 Rode out of the water in terms of per-dollar value.
Or a Tascam DR-05 or it's nicer cousins can also be had on Amazon for less than $100 (though you need some flash cards too. And of course you can dig your old stealth rig from the 80's or 90's out too. I would gladly listen to one of these shows on an XL-IIS xfer from some Nak 300's! Hit me up with transfer needs for shows recorded at TC from any media including digital (WAV, mp3, etc.), DAT, or even cassette.
Until the Lesh family gets their media team together so we can download everything officially (or they change their taping policy).... it is up to us all to get this transcendent and transformative music documented and widely shared!
p.s. I noticed I didn't tag these properly (or barely at all... sorry about that, been a bit scrambled all week.) |

| Man this looks great! Thanks a ton for sharing this. I can fix the bass like you said by EQing but I couldn't fix shit on that last one with all the coughing or whatever that was going on. Can't wait to jam this! THANX |
