can't wait to hear this one.
the gimmicks in set 1 were the ice breakers. That set really got the mood in the right place.
Set 2 is one for the books. Carini is terrifying, and this is a show to face your darkness by. Nonetheless, the whole deal smokes. I still don't believe Roses are Free was a 5 minute workout. IN the context of the set, it was timeless!
Note that there are no ballads or slow songs in round 2. |

| It was nice meeting you last night Lenny! I would like to apologize for sitting in Scott's seat. At least everything worked well. He got some great shots and hopefully a good pull. Thanx again! |

delimike - yea took me a while. long ways out of the lot, and settled back at hotel before I could dig into it.
brewcrew Mike - I agree a few less gags and few more jams. Tube sammy was really quick, Sally pleased though.
funkbeard - the crowd reactions in Sand were completely due to the large amounts of glow sticks being dropped from the balcony onto the pav. certainly the music didn't hurt it, but it was definitely not a direct reaction to something happening on stage. biggest glow stick war I've seen in years.
mgtaper - no worries at all it worked out for everyone. Scott and I were next to each other but couldn't get in as early as everyone else. see you tonight!
Energy was incredible. Forgot how much I love seeing shows in this region (SPAC/Knick). |
