NOTE: The source ID/show ID for this recording (http://db.etree.org/shn/103640) lists the venue as The Stone and has this under Garcia. However, I believe that the venue listing is an error and accidentally referring to a separate Garcia Band show on the same date. I believe the text file to contain the proper venue info. In addition, since Brent and Phil did not play, and John Kahn did, this creates a show that is subject to interpretation as to what band this should be documented under. Should someone know otherwise and/or offer additional information on this show/date it would be appreciated.

Also ... let me add that I was patched into the board for this show, the only person patched in & I believe that Charlie Miller's taping partner, Dave (sorry ... I can't recall his last name ... sorry Dave) got a copy of my sbd on an all night taping & trading session during the Dead's Mardi Gras '92 run, as we spent 2 nights after the 1st 2 shows whoopin it up! Let me tell ya ... the 3rd night I fell asleep during the opening tune 1st set & when I woke, set was over & I later discovered that someone did me a favor & flipped my tape for me ... whoever did this ... THANKS A MILLION!! Personally, I think it was Charlie or Dave, since we were all on Charlie's 4 mic mix rig.
And mostly ... thank you Jerry for all the great memories!!! (~);} |
