Big thanks to NMAS for supporting taping. Thanks to vanark for tracking and the setlist.
This came out pretty chatty. The venue was very small: the stage was about a couple feet higher than the floor, and the ceiling was low. I couldn't get the mics high enough. Not only that but the crowd was especially talkative tonight.
During Psychedelic Sex Machine, the dude from the venue who was taking pix, running the videocam, lights and media show took over on the drums! Way to multitask! Awesome job, media dude!

Benefit Show for Chew
Earlier this summer, Chris Chew had a medical complication that hospitalized him for several weeks in serious condition. To aid with his medical bills, there will be a benefit show for him on Sunday, August 19th at The Hi-Tone Cafe (1913 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN). Music will begin at 5pm and the night will include performances by the NMA Duo, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Tyler Keith & The Apostles, and more.
All tickets will be sold at the door for a suggested donation of $10. There will also be a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. 100% of the money raised that night, including food and beverage sales, will be donated to Chew to aid in his recovery expenses.
