also, out of curiosity (and so that I can add the info tot he db), which c414's do you have? There have been several varieties over the years (-ULS, -TL, -TLII, -XLS, maybe more?). Also, what pattern did you run? cardioids? hypers? something else?

My bad, Jason - they are the XLS model.
It'll always be hypers for me, as long as our numbers are so few that we are always surrounded by non-tapers.
And digs, you are correct - I actually used the same stand I used in the 80s, and it only goes to 8 feet.
With all those people going in early tonight, I fear I may not get my seats for Saturday.
I call them "my seats" because they are the only seats I've ever had in there.
Last time was in 1984 though.... |

Because I felt with the added elevation of the balcony, I would want the tiny bit more bass I get from the AKGs.
