* with "Bad Ass" Dominick Placco on trumpet (bus driver)

It has been noted that this show was "w/ DJ Rodriguez" -- Billy announces him at the end of the show, when also mentioning Dominick having played trumpet mid-set, but NOT at the end of Set I so most likely the DJ plays in Set II, if at all. HOWEVER, after re-listening I do NOT here a DJ present *during* the show. I think perhaps he just spun before/inbetween sets and that's what Billy is thanking him for -- Billy does call him a "special guest" who is on the road with Karl Denson though, so this would seem to indicate he played during the show. If somebody at the show can verify whether DJ Rodriguez actually sat in with the band, that would be great, but based on listening I don't hear him.

Traders Little Helper used for creating checksums:
- FLAC ST5 & MD5 generated for original FLACs
- FLAC ID3 tagged files matched to original FLAC ST5
- FLAC MD5 generated for ID3 tagged files (t-flac.md5)

MP3Tag (current version) used for all ID3 tagging:
- The metadata ID3 tags can be read by any player that plays FLAC files.
- ID3 tags will be stripped if converted to WAV, however audio data will be unaffected

Use FLAC ST5 to validate audio integrity.
(Alternatively, the FLAC FFP contains the same checksum values.)
t-FLAC MD5 values will change if ID3 tags are altered.
Original FLAC MD5 & ST5 included for reference

This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the audio of the original SHN/FLAC filesets -- but now with a twist. We are now seeding ID3 FLAC encoded filesets of db.etree sources which still maintains the audio integrity. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.

Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.

Huge thanks goes out to the TAPERS, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those others who have helped get the tunes to our ears.

These shows are all being listened to, setlists updated, flaws noted and/or corrected, and hopefully we're circulating the best seeds we can.

All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:

These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:

Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it: (this list is in the process of being compiled and is grossly out of date ... maybe forever? Worth a look though!)

enjoy the grooves

MMW Performance History @ - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.

We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.

db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

... hopefully somebody who grabbed a fileset you need can go back and help you out. Folks, please revisit these old torrents and see if anyone needs some help. Thanks for helping to spread the grooves.

**NOTE** I am trying to leave all new torrents open indefinitely since my new internet connection affords me ample bandwidth to keep on seeding! (dug - Jan 2012)

When a show opens with We Are Rolling, well, that's just a sign of good energy, my friends -- that'll take you places! I love a mid-set The Dropper (I would love to catch that tune -- one of my favourites, but I've never caught it live), and the move from Shacklyn > Partido is real sweet ... Macha opening set II is a fun groove to get things going, and having Hermeto's in there is a nice treat for sure, with "Bad Ass" Dom on trumpet ... Toy Dancing is another tune I can always here -- so fun ...
