Traders Little Helper used for creating checksums:
- FLAC ST5 & MD5 generated for original FLACs
- FLAC ID3 tagged files matched to original FLAC ST5
- FLAC MD5 generated for ID3 tagged files (t-flac.md5)
MP3Tag (current version) used for all ID3 tagging:
- The metadata ID3 tags can be read by any player that plays FLAC files.
- ID3 tags will be stripped if converted to WAV, however audio data will be unaffected
Use FLAC ST5 to validate audio integrity.
(Alternatively, the FLAC FFP contains the same checksum values.)
t-FLAC MD5 values will change if ID3 tags are altered.
Original FLAC MD5 & ST5 included for reference
T-FLAC16TAG.HTML uses FOLDER.JPG to display album art
T-FLAC16TAG.TXT provides a track-by-track breakdown of the fileset's ID3 tags

-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the audio of the original SHN/FLAC filesets -- but now with a twist. We are now seeding ID3 FLAC encoded filesets of db.etree sources which still maintains the audio integrity. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the TAPERS, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those others who have helped get the tunes to our ears.
These shows are all being listened to, setlists updated, flaws noted and/or corrected, and hopefully we're circulating the best seeds we can.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled and is grossly out of date ... maybe forever? Worth a look though!)
enjoy the grooves
***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

... hopefully somebody who grabbed a fileset you need can go back and help you out. Folks, please revisit these old torrents and see if anyone needs some help. Thanks for helping to spread the grooves.
**NOTE** I am trying to leave all new torrents open indefinitely since my new internet connection affords me ample bandwidth to keep on seeding! (dug - Jan 2012)
|A nice acoustic set dropped into the run, and this fileset captures some of the opening band's set. This is a fantastic acoustic set and unique to it's time so I'd say grab it for the shake up it provides in the tour's listening ... Seven Deadlies is, well, deadly ... Afrique is a tune I could listen to over and over ...

|Thank you Duggy!!
|Thanks for this too! Only had this one on old CD-R's..
|...and those old CD-R's have a completely different recording on them! I don't have any source info, but it's definitely not this source. I'll try & get this & the previous night up this weekend. Cool!
|I know of no other sources for this show. If there is one, I'd love to hear it.
Although there are 3+ sources of the 4/18/03 Symphony Center show.
As for this 2001 show... I believe for the 2nd encore (and maybe for the 1st) I moved down a few rows to an empty seat (lots of people left early at both of these Symphony Center shows, probably not what they were expecting) to get closer to the edge of the balcony (you should be able to hear the move and the change in volume/clarity).
In 2003, I was stuck much higher in the balcony and my recording is not the best that circulates.
|in fact, I don't even have a copy of my 2003 recording. I don't need it because there is a nice DPA's source that circulates.
