I'm not sure if this source has been seeded before, but here it is. Sounds quite good for a gym & doesn't have that weird buzz in the left channel that's on the Schoeps seed.
Enjoy!!

Thanks, joe!! So these wew AKG's that were split on either side of the SBD area?? That's how I read it, anyway.

Joe thank you.

Awesome, I remember going to this show. I believe STS9 opened?
taperjoe 2012-11-23 17:55:41
Yes, the mics were set up in the mix area out front, I put one mic stand on each front corner of the SBD & aimed at the PA.

And yes, STS9 opened, I did not record them but I believe their set is on archive.org... Wow Mark, gotta wonder how many shows we were both at back in the day!

Thanks Joe, always enjoy your FOH recordings! You planning to tape either of the Evanston shows this week - Billy Martin/Wil Blades at Space on Tuesday or Medeski solo at NU on Thursday?

Yes, Joe...email me about these shows. I may be able to hook you up if you record them. vanillag@hotmail.com

I have a sweet seat for Medeski's solo show on Thursday, 4th row almost center & I'm psyched about it! I doubt that putting up a mic stand would go over well there, so I was planning on some kind of low-key method, not exactly sure yet...
