|Just want to say thanks to Clay and Todd for their efforts in recording these nights. Both were instrumental in bringing this run of amazing shows to you all. Thanks also to Brooks and Alex at the Pour House for allowing us the access to record the shows. Lastly, thanks to Chris Robinson Brotherhood for continuing to keep Charleston on their tour schedule. Hope you guys had a great time and will keep us in mind for future shows.
|Thanks for sharing!!
|Thanks to Bobby Hurley for uploading and double-checking all the data from the 3 night run. For those of you out there who have yet to see the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, GO SEE THEM LIVE!
CRB is Taper-Friendly and they sell their own recordings of their shows via download. The merch table is stocked with super cool CRB swag.
Hope CRB returns in 2013 to the Pour House!
|The very first song by CRB I EVER heard was a few days before this run. I found a link to 'That's How Strong My Love Is' and after listening/watching it a few times, I decided to attend all 3 nights. I was cleaning the house and clicked on the link and let the music play...
I likely found the link to it from the Pour House website. Before hearing this song that CRB finally played quite fittingly as an encore on the 3rd night, I had planned on attending just one of the three shows, the Friday October 26th show.
Thus the power of 'giving it way for free' marketing worked its proven ways once again and I attended all three nights instead of the single night I had planned on attending.
The house won, the band won and we ALL won as 3 nights were captured therein and are all 3 nights are being shared freely; these recordings WILL add to the fan base, and all involved will be better off because of the band's taping policy...
Rock and Roll.
