Thanks for capturing/sharing, Jeff! I was wondering if you made it to these gigs ... glad you got to catch the shows!

I've added a source entry here:
http://db.etree.org/shn/123242

I thought both of these gigs were hot MSMW -- very playful all around ... cool things like stretching out Hanuman for almost 20min!; jamming off Boozer; covering Scarlet Begonias; a Drum Solo in Chank; interesting quiet guitar transition from Deadzy > What Now, instead of the usual mode ... and others ... fun stuff ...

There's a tune from 12/8's 2nd set, 2nd tune, that I can't place ... there's a chord progression that makes me want to sing "I Can See Clearly Now", and I kinda thought it was a wacked version of that tune ... but there's a line that Sco plays like it's the verse melody and I don't know what that is ... somebody had noted Lively Up Yourself, but it's definitely not that ...

duggy, do you hear something between Chank and Deadzy? I was thinking there was a melody there, but I couldn't place it.

Randy, I'm referring to 2nd set of 12/8 -- the tune/Improv after Heaven On Earth ... but now that you mention it, I just noticed that the setlist for this 12/7 source is lacking the Down The Tubes noted on the other 12/7 source ... so, anyway, here's the setlist for this Schoeps source as I posted it in db.etree:

Set One
01. [17:42] - Hanuman >
02. [10:24] - Down The Tubes > Boozer Improv* [@6:01]
03. [09:36] - A Go Go
04. [12:59] - Scarlet Begonias
05. [15:51] - Bass Intro > Legalize It [@1:55] >
06. [07:54] - Drum Intro > Miles Behind [@2:21]

Set Two
01. [16:49] - Chank (w/ Drum Solo) >
02. [12:11] - Down The Tubes > Guitar Improv [@4:35] > Deadzy+ [@7:59] >
03. [07:14] - What Now
04. [10:37] - Southern Pacific
05. [12:58] - Tootie Ma Is A Big Fine Thing
06. [09:37] - Guitar Intro > Julia
07. [15:26] - Fuck You Guys
~encore~
08. [10:57] - Hey Joe

* improvisation built around Boozer's outro jam
+ guitar solo @11:24 that leads into What Now (a different sort of transition than usual for these two tunes - dug)

... most up-to-date setlist/textfile can always be grabbed here:
